Wires are plugged into your head. A machine powers on, and you immediately go unconscious . . . and enter an artificial dream-state. You're asleep, and having a dream, but the dream can be influenced by a computer. The three men who dragged you out of bed have put you in this test because you are the first test subject of human testing - whether you like it or not.This is the situation William Cumberland has found himself in. Now that he's in the nightmare, he has no other choice. If he wants to make it out alive, he's just going to have to go through the ten tests and make it all the way to the end.After all . . . it's only a nightmare.
