Teton Shadow Deer
When land development encrouches on the forest of the Teton Range, two mule deer seek the advice of various other wildlife on where to make their new home. Antelope, porcupine, otters, moose, a black bear, and a gray owl all lend their special strengths and powers to assist the deer in their search. Each animal's special powers, recognized by Native Americans, are given at the back of the book along with exampes of their individual fetishes, or stone carvings.
