Belle City Threshers (Classic Reprint)
Belle City Threshers (Classic Reprint)

Excerpt from Belle City Threshers
I threshed and hauled my wheat to mill and had my money before anyone else in this county had begun to thresh, and by so doing I got from 10 to 20 cents per bushel more for my wheat, as the mills all wanted it at that time and there was no wheat coming in at that early date. Then it began to rain quite frequently after I was done threshing my wheat, and some of my neighbors who had fall wheat the same as mine lost a large per cent of it, and what they did thresh sold very cheap.
Very little help is required to operate the Belle City thresher. You and your boys or your hired help can handle it very satisfactorily. You do not have to pay for additional help, or pay back in work to your neighbors the assistance which you must call upon them to give you when large crews do your threshing. The work for your wife is not increased (you know how well your wife likes to cook for threshers), and you are not eaten out of house and home.
Doing your own work with your own help, you will not see how much you can get through the machine, but you will thresh and separate all the grain there is in the straw.
No expert is needed to Operate the Belle City - no previous experience in threshing is necessary. The capacity of the Belle City is exceptionally large considering the size of the machine.
About the Publisher
Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. International Corn Planters (Classic Reprint)
International Corn Planters (Classic Reprint)

Excerpt from International Corn Planters
The planters are all steel with the exception of the tongue. The frame of the planters is one continuous piece of high grade steel, the rear portion being circular in form, giving the frame exceptional strength and stability. The frame is attached to the runner frame by two large pins, making a strong connection but allowing the runner frame to pivot independently and to con form to surface irregularities. The entire construction of the International corn planters is simple, but very efficient.
When the kernels are well planted, more than half of man's battle in securing a good crop is won. The International corn planter was designed for the one purpose of putting the corn in the ground in the best possible manner for rapid growth.
It is in the field that the International corn planter proves its superiority. Provided with variable and automatic drops, and with edge drop, ๏ฌ‚at drop, or full hill drop plates, the corn is put into the ground according to the power of the soil to develop it to full maturity. Practically all fields vary as to the producing ability of the soil. A planter with an assortment of drops, there fore, becomes of great assistance in securing a uniform crop and enabling the soil to develop the seed to its fullest extent.
About the Publisher
Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Keystone Tillage Implements (Classic Reprint)
Keystone Tillage Implements (Classic Reprint)

Excerpt from Keystone Tillage Implements
The farmer who thoroughly understands all uses of the disk harrow has the secret of successful seed bed preparation. There is no farm tool which can turn as much profit if used to its fullest possibilities.
If a farmer desires to fall plow, following the binder with the disk harrow is the best thing he can do. The mulch which is formed by the dishing prevents undue evaporation from the surface and permits the moisture from below to soften the ground so that plowing is made easy. The ground turns over in a mellow condition instead of dry, hard clods, as is true in dry fails when dishing is not done-after the binder.
Dishing, before and after plowing in the Spring. Enables the farmer to make a compact seed bed in much less time than when plowing without previous dishing. This is of special value in late springs.
About the Publisher
Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
